My favourite group has gotta be V6, they're just so... genuine? Like all their variety shows, appearances, everything they make it so fun. All the members have such distinctive personalities and I just love their energy and everything.
My favourite member is Miyake, but Morita and Innochi is ruining my lifeeeee~ I just love how sassy and outgoing Miyake is, like he's such a child but also quite mature (well obviously he's 40 lmao) but I just really love how he makes trouble, laughs and has fun all the time. I also love him being so sassy haha, he's so straightforward sometimes but also sometimes I can see him just warmly smiling at the other members when the camera isn't focusing on him and it's just so heartwarming. Also him in Made in Japan is hilarious lmao, I cannot take him seriously when he was acting cool there and that arm waving dance lmao
Morita is sigh, such a sweetheart. He's such an awkward but weird mess sometimes, like he prefers to be alone but really opens up when he's around his members and it's just nice to see him being so comfortable. I love seeing his antics and he's just so out there sometimes compared to the rest of the members but he also fits in so well. It's always really nice to see him smile in the background and just laughing his heart out with his members.
Innochi is such an outgoing friendly guy, like his laughing and smile attracted me to him so badly. As I found more videos on him, the sassier he became haha. I love how he takes care of all the other members and is honestly probably one of the more responsible members (maybe not as responsible as Nagano and Okada lol). Oh gosh I love it when he smiles and laughs like it's just a giant ray of sunshine.

Nagano... is such a sweetheart. Like he's so caring and so mother-like while also playing around with the rest of the members. I love seeing him just warmly watching the other members do their thing and just letting the younger members tease him. He's just so gentle. I also cannot take him seriously in Made in Japan the opening sequence as well as the Tonisen head waving dance lmao ALSO HE WAS THE ULTRAMAN I GREW UP WATCHING!! That was pretty cool haha
Sakamoto is such a great leader in the group, and I really appreciate how he opened up about his struggles with being the leader as well as confronting his previous stubborn behaviour and recognising that it was really unhealthy for himself. It takes a lot of courage to open up that much, let alone in front of the camera for fans to see. I also love how much of a scaredy cat he is lmao, at first glance he really seems like the most manly and confident member but oof him being scared of everything is really cute
And lastly, our youngest, Okada. He's grown up so much and is so mature compared to the rest lol. He's so talented and I just love how his personality was cheeky and yet quite calm lolol I love him messing around with the older members and just kinda going along with everything. He is so good at everything he does, martial arts, acting etc like he's so perfect. I need to watch more of his movies, because he's fantastic in all of them. I also love the moments where he's really immature and the other members just sometimes let him do whatever he wants but he never does anything out of line coz he's mature lololol
My favourite songs hmm... this is hard because I'm actually a huge fan of Eurobeat as a genre in itself, so I loved Music for the People and Made in Japan but also I'm a fan of the original songs so I'm always like ahhhhhh I'm not used to his version with rap and Japanese. I honestly love Ai no Melody, especially the chorus, it's just so soft and the lyrics are even softer but I can't find the PV anywhere oh well. Honey Beat and Believe your Smile is also my favourites to listen, but I don't have the PVs AHHHh, I found music station performances on youtube so I'm tho lol.
My relationship with Jpop is actually pretty random, I'm honestly the type of person who prefers watching variety shows of members over music, I usually follow groups for their personality and members over their music because music genres always change. I think maybe 3/4 years ago I foung Hey! Say! Jump!'s Itadaki High Jump episodes on youtube before they were taken down and I was the different concepts. I checked out their music and it wasn't really for me but I enjoyed watching their variety shows etc.
When the videos were taken down, I tries LJ but er I am not very good at the internet and I gave up lol I knew some Johnny's members from dramas and movies and listened to Exile songs but wasn't particularly familiar with them. I watched a lot Japanese variety shows then and I remember checking out Johnny's groups and just searching for any if there was any videos on these groups. I kinda discovered V6 that way and was mainly just going through dailymotion, youtube, vimeo, everywhere except for LJ and DW lmao
I kinda slowly fell out of it until I randomly tried finding jpop vids on youtube and then watched all your vids a few months ago. I watched all your vids and kinda got back into the Jpop but not really. And then a few weeks ago, I rewatched all your vids again, rewatched the how to get into Johnny's vid and decided to not be lazy and actually follow it lol
And then now I'm buying tons of USBs for all this content I've missed out on.
I'm relatively okay at Japanese, I'm not decent but I can understand basic things, and if the person speaks slower I can kinda understand (as long as I take notes and research some vocab I don't know and revising the sentence structure lol) I mainly need help with vocab and grammar. I used to be a lot better but stopped studying it due to personal circumstances but I'm taking it as an elective for my important high school exams.
