All About Me...

I'm Michiko and I love Johnny's (mainly V6 & Kinki Kids lol, but I'm open to mostly everyone) and I'm currently a sixteen year old Japanese-American High School Junior from Hawaii^^

I thought I should share some things about myself for anyone who happens to stumble upon my posts, so here we go!

*cue random facts*

1. V6 is my favorite group of all time and Masa is my:  E V E R Y T H I N G

 

Technically KAT-TUN was the first J-Pop group I was exposed to, and Arashi was the first I really got into, but V6 is the group that pulled me into the abyss and just never let go.

Their music is amazing and I LOVE each any every one of their dorky-asses. I actually found them because I watched the VS Arashi episode where Masa was Arashi's plus-one and I fell in love immediately with how adorable he was.

There was a point when I first started listening to their music where I was in a dilemma between him and Inocchi (because let's be real Inocchi is freaking hilarious), but Sakamoto's scaredy-catness and his B E A U T I F U L voice wouldn't allow me to be unfaithful (even though I'm still at war with my feelings for Go).

2.  I LOVE ALL J-FRIENDS




Alright. When I found out what and who J-Friends were, trust me, I nearly died.

They are literally the compilation of my favorite three Johnny's groups of all time and I wish they came back with this concept. Like can we take a minute to appreciate the KOICHI AND NAGASE INTERACTIONS??  

And then what about Tsuyoshi and Inocchi? Or Tonisen and TOKIO?? I LOVED THIS〜

Anyway, this was actually genius and I can die knowing something this amazing happened lmao.

3. I Think I'm Attracted To Blue People...



So like, I don't know if Johnny legit has a process for asigning colors to people, or if these guys are choosing them themselves, but like....

I seriously think I have a problem. 

Some of my favorites go like this:
V6 - Sakamoto - Blue
Kinki Kids - Tsuyoshi - Blue
Arashi - Ohno - Blue

Not ALL of my favorites are blue (that would low-key be kind of creepy) but most of them are, and if not, then they're probably yellow (with exceptions like Kame, Tackey, etc.).

But yeah, I do want to know if there's a process to these colors, because Johnny's seem to love looking like the Wiggles.

4. Takizawa Was My Fiance, And I'm Still Heartbroken



So obviously I'm not being serious lol, but as much as I considered Masa my husband, I considered Takki my fiance. I loved him so much and I'll forever miss him on stage, but obviously I'm also overwhelmingly happy for him and his future in the company.

I will never forget Takki (or Tsubasa obviously >.<) and he will always have a place in my heart.

5. I'm Not Really Up-To-Date...



 So as I'm sure you've noticed, I mainly only follow the Senpai Johnny's and I'm not super eager to get to know the newer groups such as King & Prince. 

However, don't get me wrong, I'm sure they're super talented and stuff and they're pretty cute, but they just aren't for me yet. I pretty much stopped paying attention after Hey! Say! JUMP, though recently I have vowed to stan Johnny's WEST (and I'm totally waiting for 4U to get their CD debut #LetThemShineJohnny). 

So groups like Sexy Zone, KIS-MY-FT2, and A.B.C-Z aren't really for me (That doesn't mean I don't like some of their songs though, I do pay attention during Countdown lol).

It's just my personal taste, but they aren't really my style or type to be quite honest >.<

6. It Took Me  F O R E V E R  To Get Into KANJANI8



This one is completely my fault so don't take that as an insult lol. 

I had major interest in KANJANI8 for a really long time, once I saw their Karaoke game with Kinki Kids.

However, I kept putting it off because I wasn't ready to put in effort to learn their names (lmao. Yes, that's my work ethic). But now? Guuuurl, I love them so much it's kind of ridiculous (Ryo-chan is my  b  a  b  y).

They are total idiots and I'm ashamed for not investing my time into them sooner (Sudden dodge-ball is my favorite segment EVER).

7. Junno, I Ain't Even Mad.



So this is random because Junno left a long time ago and most of us Hyphens are over it. But I know when he initially left, everyone was heartbroken (including me) and some Japanese fans were even legitimately ANGRY at him for not wanting to dance in the spotlight anymore. 

But personally, I just want to say that I was never mad at him and I actually commend him for wanting to start a new chapter in his life after spending the entirety of his youth as a Johnny. Like if he wants to live as a normal person in society without the pressure and public scrutiny that comes with being an idol, who am I to judge?

Junno is such an angel it made me genuinely upset that people who called themselves fans were turning on him so quickly. Anyway, I love him and I'll always remember him in my heart >.<

8. Toma Is My Favorite JE Actor



I love MatsuJun's movies and dramas just as much as the next person, but Toma is a whole other level or amazing on screen. If you haven't watched his movie "Close Knit", then you are missing out on some quality talent. 

He is capable of playing so many different roles and I appreciate him so much in the industry *cries in a corner*

Technically Oguri Shun is my favorite Japanese actor (he's been in some amazing stuff), but Toma is right there under him for me. Let's also mention his dorky-kind-caring-idiotic personality, because I love his relationship with other Johnny's (especially his Senpai's). He's just so adorable〜

9. I Think Arashi's Hiatus Is A Good Thing...



So don't hate on me for this one, but I genuinely have accepted Arashi's decision to go on hiatus, and after thinking about it for real, I actually like it.

if you think about it, Arashi have been active for TWENTY YEARS, and Ohno alone spent five years as a Johnny's Jr waiting to debut in the first place. So Ohno's been in the industry for TWENTY-FIVE YEARS.

If this child says he wants to take a break, WHY ARE Y'ALL GETTING SO UPSET??

We all know how creative and talented he is and how much he loves to sing, but if his career is causing him that much stress or if he starts to feel like he wants to take a step back from the limelight (much like Junno), how cruel must you be to try to demand that he stay anyway? 

I will always support Ohno and all of the Arashi members, but if our anti-social, baka leader wants some "me-time", let him de-stress and focus on his own life. 

At least they were kind enough to let us know they were disbanding, so we can cherish the time we still have with them. That's a lot more than we got from other groups *cough* SMAP *cough* (that was a joke, I love SMAP don't take it seriously >.<).

So let's just let our leader take his time and live his life. Also, the other members have made it clear that they will continue their solo activities so it's not like we'll be super deprived in Ohno's absence.

Hello! My name is Gwendoline, I am 28 years old and I am french, I live in the South West.
I am a radio host, which allows me to make musical and literary chronicles.

- V6 is the third Johnny's group I knew, after Kat-tun and Arashi, and before Kis-my-ft2. I discovered them thank to Okada in "Kisarazu Cat's eye" (at the beginning, I wanted to see Sho Sakurai).
I like this group, first of all obviously for their music. Songs themes, lyrics, rythm.
I also love them for their acting, "Hold up down" was absolutely hilarious and "Hard luck hero" was very well played too.
Finally, I love them for their relationship. I feel like I see a family (maybe because of their age difference, but because their personality too). I love their different facets, and I think Sakamoto is the one who has the most.

- If you have a problem with "blue people", so do I XD. Welcome to the club ;)
Kat-tun : my favorite is Ueda (blue)
Arashi : my favorite is Ohno (blue)
V6 : my favorite is Sakamoto (blue)
Kis-my-ft2 : my favorite is Senga (blue)
I don't really listen to the other Johnny's group, so I don't know for them.

Oh my gosh! I have the same problem as you except with pink people (Nakai, Tackey, Kame, Kotaki) It truly is a curse, hehe. I also love Toma very much, he's such a talented actor!!

1. V6 are sweet n funny desho? with kamisen & tonisen there. tashika, i was lure into them thru darling and feel your breeze song (yeah thanx to matsujun drama ^,^)

2. yeah me too! though it is quite hard to found their album.. please share with me if u have their album m(__)m

3. for me i just realized my fav peoples most of them is yellow~ else they are blue - kinki, tokio, hsj (yes, with exception for kame n takki ^^)

Omg I honestly wish I had a j friends I will but I don't because I'm broke but once I get it I promise I will share it with you and I'll let you know^^ and yes I actually also liked Tsuyoshi in SMAP but I pretty recently switched over to Shingo because he's just too funny and cute. Your list of yellow people is one of the cutest things I've ever seen in my life and I absolutely adore you~ I also definitely hope that it's only a Hiatus and I will rejoice the day that they come back as a group and I hope that Ohno has a good time during his break and he's able to focus on himself for a while. And yes Toma is everything!! Thank you so much for commenting this actually made my day >.< And yes, Kame is a beautiful human.
